Six brightly colored flags — red, blue, orange, green, yellow and grey — provide an easy-to-see visual signal outside exam rooms and patient-care areas. Facilities can assign each color to a specific status, workflow or staff communication need based on their own procedures. Constructed from durable powder-coated aluminum, the flag system is built for frequent use in busy healthcare environments. Its non-electrical design operates quietly and requires no wiring, batteries or power source. Each flag rotates up to 180 degrees for clear visibility from different angles. Sturdy
This product is perfect for the intended use but it can also be used in the home or home office, not just in medical offices. I installed mine on the outside of my audio/video studio within my office to let people know when not to disturb. I labeled them with a simple white tag and wrote my status (recording audio-recording video-come in- etc..) but there are a variety of uses including letting people know when a baby is napping. The product itself is quality. The hinges are a bit stiff but that is a good thing because over time they will loosen up and these will last a bit longer in my experience because they are stiffer. They are attached by being nailed in (you will supply the nails) and it won't go anywhere once it's secured. This one gives you more options for status announcements which is a big bonus. I can't find any flaws with the product, it does what it claims, and I feel it's priced fairly for the use you will get from it. 5 star product!

These work very well and have LOTS of uses
While I can tell from my uses that these would be great for their intended purpose at a medical office, there are **many** possibilities for uses with these. I got several of these in different sizes with different numbers of flags. This is what I am using them for: * Chore Markers. I write the chores/tasks that need to get done that day onto the flags with dry/erase marker, and as they are completed, the flags get pushed in. *Board game phase trackers. Sometimes with certain games you need to keep track of what phase that you are in, and some players have a hard time focusing. This lets you visibly mark the phases and push the flags in when that phase is over so that you don't have to keep explaining it to the people who aren't paying attention to everything that is happening in the game.
